We are pleased and proud to announce that we have selected James R. Patron, Sr. - an Ohio Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 43 years - to manage our day to day business operations here at Lamiell Funeral Home. Jim served his apprenticeship under Paul J. Lamiell, Sr., had worked with Paul's son P.J., and has been a lifelong friend of the family for well over forty plus years. Jim was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, attending St. Joseph Elementary School, Lincoln High School, and graduating from Kent State University, before going on to mortuary school, where he earned his mortuary degree. He also served, during his earlier years, as organist and choir director of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Canton, Ohio
