The Newell Chapel has cared for families in Decatur, Paw Paw and Lawrence since 1907. We know generation after generation of families, friends and neighbors in our tight-knit community and will support you before, during and after the funeral. You are welcome to gather in our charming chapel to celebrate your loved one’s life in a personalized, meaningful way. We can host up to 250 people, and our facilities are ADA accessible so everyone can move easily throughout our building. On our lower level, we have a place where your family can take a break, talk privately or give children a quiet place to play. We will offer coffee and water, but you are welcome to bring in food to share with your guests.
